Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist — US Market

You own the quality of models and analysis in the US market, not only your own projects.

About the role

As the number of US customers grows, so does the need for more advanced models and analysis — not only dashboards, but the forecasts customers base purchasing and production decisions on. We are looking for a senior to own the quality of models and analysis in the American market, and to back up the less experienced analysts on the team.

What you will do

Developing and evaluating the more advanced forecasting and analytical models for American customers.
Mentoring and backing up the less experienced data analysts on the US team.
Defining the quality standards for the analysis and models used in the American market.
Working with sales and account management on the most complex analysis for strategic customers.
Working with the data team in Poland on shared analytical and modelling standards.
Ad hoc analysis and models supporting senior sales and product decisions.

What we are looking for

At least 4 years as a data analyst or data scientist, including building advanced models, not only dashboards.
Fluency in SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn, the basics of time series models).
Experience supporting and mentoring other analysts, formally or informally.
Ability to communicate analytical results to non-technical people, including customer boards.
Native or business-level English.
Comfort working in a team split between the US and Poland.

Nice to have

Experience in foodservice, manufacturing, retail or logistics in the US.
Experience with demand forecasting or hierarchical models.
Experience building analytical standards in a team.
